Pre Construction

Pre-Construction Termite Treatment

It is extremely essential to nip the evil in the bud, therefore, we use the help of our highly professional & trained experts for treating the termite infestation at pre construction sites putting advanced techniques to use. In order to get completely rid of the termites at the pre construction sites, direct liquid treatments are applied to the inside, outside and also in the foundation of the site. Our specialized termite control treatment plan comprises of injection of liquid Termiticide (Chloropyrophos 20%EC Bifenthrin 2.5%EC / Imidaclorpopid) in areas like the foundation, within the foundation walls and also areas under the concrete slabs.

Treatment Methodology & Stages

Foundation Level/Soil (External Treatment)

Initially a chemical toxic barrier is created between the soil and the building to be protected. This is achieved in the following way, holes are drilled very close to the plinth wall about 300 mm (1ft) apart from each other if the concrete cover or masonry apron around the walls of your building exist. Post that, insecticide is poured all over, which after mixing with the soil will ultimately lead to the eradication of the termites and also prohibiting them from re-infesting. In case your building stands on pillars, insecticide is poured into the soil after drilling the holes around the pillars.
Trenches of a ‘shovel width’ are dug, if there is loose earth around the walls of your building, leading to the exposure of the external surfaces of the foundation wall up to a depth of 500mm from the ground level. The dug up earth is refilled in layers while refilling the trenches, and insecticide is sprayed all over.

Refilled Earth/ Plinth Filing

Before the floor is laid, treatment is provided at the top surface of the consolidated earth within the plinth walls and it is also ensured that back filling against foundation is treated to its full depth. Backfilled earth on each side of all built up walls, which will be in immediate contact with the foundation, will be treated with water base chemical solution at vertical surface of the substructure, to a depth of 45cm and width of 15cm. the chemical shall be directed towards the masonry surfaces so that earth in contact with these surfaces is effectively treated with the chemical.

Plinth Protection

In this step the external perimeter of the site will be provided with a ring of chemical barrier by digging holes at equal intervals & pouring chemical solution there in. This will eventually lead in generating resistance against termites and barring them from entering the premises through outer soil thereby giving strength to the structure.

Under Floor Treatment

Pest- Cure Incorporation offers an additional service for Anti-Termite treatment at Pre-Construction sites. Chemical granules of Termiticide are spread at this stage. These granules shed their outer covering and burst after absorbing the water moisture & release chemical, which prevent & control the termite movement.

Vulnerable Wooden Portions of the Buildings

Moreover, on all floors, the drilling operations will also protect wooden portions such as doors and windows, which are highly susceptible to termite attack. Spot treatment of spraying on infested areas in the walls and ceiling is also carried out.

Warranty :

3-5 Years- Warranty of 3-5 years is given if comprehensive anti-termite treatment of the entire building is done. In case of re-infestation of termites during the warranty period, the same will be treated without any extra cost.
Note: For Govt. Projects & Projects as per CPWD norms, Warranty is of 10 years.
Pest-Cure offers best services in India for pre construction anti termite treatment and for pre construction termite treatment.

Check Up Visits:

Post initial major treatment, our technician will follow your case and visit your premises once in a year for a check up. In case of re-infestation, necessary treatment will be done. You are free to contact us anytime in case of reappearance of termites during the warranty period.
