Like the enchanting sweet taste of honey? There is nobody on earth who would say no to this natural sweetener, and if there is one, trust me he is not sane.

Honey, which we gladly lick dripping over our hands is the produce of honeybees hard work. You should not know about this, but the process of getting honey from them is excruciatingly tough.

By god’s grace, these bees have a great sixth sense and can feel danger immediately. And to save them from the assault, they have their greatest weapon, STING.

Some people are allergic to this venom which can even induce difficulty in breathing, increased pulse rate and sometimes an allergy that can lead to death.

Don’t worry. Our ancestors found first-aid for this which is proudly passed on to our grandparents. Just keep them in mind and you could immediately cut the effect.

Squeeze out venom and apply ice

The first thing you should do is to restrain yourself from itching if there is any. This could worsen the situation more. Now take a sharp and pointy object. Scrape the venom out of the sting and immediately apply ice over it. This remedy will lessen the pain and swelling in just an hour.

Find some base

Knowledge always comes in handy at the time of need. This can stand your chance to shine as a scientist. The sting of a bee includes acid which causes the burning sensation. So, look out for a base in your house to maintain the situation. Apply toothpaste or mix vinegar and water to make a paste. Just apply the base instantly to reduce the pain.

Honey

Iron can cut iron. Pretty ironical right. What if the enemy is also the source of your antidote? Just apply honey to the wound and you will feel better. Those who are allergic to honey are meant to stay away.

Potato and Onion

Yeah! You must be thinking, Are they used anywhere other than making sabzi? Trust me, they have more uses than you think. Potatoes and onions have inflammatory properties and could be used to cut the initial pain of the sting if the pain is not much fortified.

Mud

What if the bee stung you outside and you need an SOS ingredient urgently? You could always trust Mother Nature, if she has given the pain then she will heal it.

Rub mud mixed with water if you are outside and can’t get hold of anything. Just make sure you wash the mud after going home. Apply an antibiotic cream after the wash.

A bee sting can be harmful and it’s highly recommended to get first-aid as soon as possible. And last but not the least, don’t tease queen bees.

These are home remedies and Pestcure recommends consulting a doctor as soon as possible.
