What are the treatments for Termites?
Mainly there are two types of termite treatment available; Liquid & Bait. Both the work demand professional help and one cannot diagnose, identify and treat termites; you surely need professional help for this. Knowledge of building construction is considered necessary in identifying and treatment of termites as many of these potential points can be hidden and difficult to access. Consulting experts or taking the services of relevant agencies would rather be beneficiary in this case as they demand special equipment’s such as masonry drills, pumps, large-capacity tanks, soil treatment rods along with liquid pesticides, known as a termiticide, which will be injected into the ground alongside the foundation of the walls (In case of wooden flooring or wooden walls), beneath concrete slabs etc.
Indeed this is a job of professionals to accomplish. If you want to do it yourself we would rather prefer you to go with small wooden objects, certainly not attached to the house. The products termed under ‘Do-it-yourself’ category can be bought from various retail stores from the market at affordable rates (Do keep in mind the harms which the come with). The products available nowadays come with extensive treatments and studies are conducted to keep in mind the harmful effects of them as they are safer for humans and pets but still consulting the physician in case of contact should be preferred.
Warranty
3-5 Years- Warranty of 3-5 years is given if comprehensive anti-termite treatment of the entire building is done. In case of re-infestation of termites during the warranty period, the same will be treated without any extra cost.
Note: For Govt. Projects & Projects as per CPWD norms, Warranty is of 10 years.

Check Up Visits
